We are a founding member of the ANF (www.notariat-francophone.org), whose headquarters are in Paris. Since the beginning of the 1990s, it has brought together notaries from French-speaking countries around common values. The association is an effective way to spread our know-how worldwide, from Africa to Quebec.
The very beginning: ANF created with the support of the French Ministry of Francophonie on 17 April.
First African notarial conference organised by the ANF in Lomé (Togo) under the patronage of the President of the Togolese Republic and the Secretary-General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie. It has been held every year since!
“La terre, un droit humain” published by Abdoulaye Harissou, Secretary-General of the ANF. The book is prefaced by Jacques Chirac and Abdou Diouf. Partnership with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie established, to create a new land title for the most disadvantaged.

We participate in a project in Niger aiming at delivering civil status certificates to all children, led by the International Organisation of the La Francophonie. The Niger notariat provides its expertise in the organisation of mobile court hearings and support to families.
We contribute to the elaboration of the practical guide “For the consolidation of civil status in the Francophone area: challenges and perspectives for the actors of the La Francophonie” published by the International Organisation of La Francophonie.
