This policy for protection of personal data applies to the Site (hereinafter “Site” or “Website”) and explains how your personal data is collected and used, and what are your rights as regards processing of this personal data.

Le Conseil Supérieur du Notariat [Supreme Council of Notaries] is processing manager for https://www.international.notaires.fr as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.

Article 30 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 requires processing managers to keep an up-to-date record of processing they implement for the purposes of their activity. This processing of the management of recruitment operations by the offices and bodies of notaries is listed in a register kept by the Data Protection Delegate for the notarial profession.

Personal data: any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable person. In the following, the terms used are “Data” or “Personal Data.”

Processing of Personal Data: any operation involving personal data (collection, recording, extraction, modification, etc.).

Persons Involved: any private individual whose personal data is subject to processing. In the following, those involved may be referred to as “You” or “Your.”

Processing Manager: an individual or legal entity which decides on the purposes and means of processing.

Data Protection Delegate: individual designated by the processing manager to inform and advise the organisation as well as staff, to monitor compliance, to be contacted by those involved in matters relating to their rights, to cooperate with CNIL and be its contact.

Control Authority: an independent public authority set up by a Member State and responsible for monitoring the application of regulations relating to personal data protection (particularly Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 and Law No. 78-16 of 6 January 1978); legislation adopted by the European Union and French legislation which may apply to protection of personal data processed in the context of this processing.

Some personal data collected can help measure traffic on the Site, understand, improve and thus develop the Site according to the needs of users.

The processing manager undertakes to guarantee confidentiality and security of information provided. Instructions have been sent to sub-contractor(s) to ensure implementation of technical and organizational measures to guarantee you a risk-appropriate level of security.

10. Your Rights

In accordance with the regulations, you can access your data. If necessary, you may request correction or deletion of this data, limit processing of this data or object to it for reasons related to your particular situation. You can also set out guidelines relating to retention, deletion and delivery of your personal data after your death.
